Catholic Art: Marianne Stokes
- Marianne Stokes was an Austrian painter who lived from 1855-1927. She uses rich colours and detailed symbolism but it is the intense expressions on the faces of her Madonnas, saints and the Christ Child which are most arresting.

Beautiful! The one on the lower right is not a Madonna and child. It looks like two saints. Do you know which two?
