raqi MP's heartfelt plea for the Yazidi people and other minorities

Vian Dakhil MP,  is the only Yazidi member of the Iraqi parliament. Though she gave this speech on 5 August I came across it only yesterday. It speaks for itself.

The MP was injured a week later when an Iraqi helicopter on a mission to help the besieged Yazidi people crashed, killing the pilot.

    I saw this video when it first came out and have been very moved by it. I didn't know about her injury. I'm glad she's recovering.
