  1. I use the daily Mass readings as a trigger. It can be the Old Testament reading, the New Testament, the Gospel,the responsorial psalm that triggers a thought, an idea, provokes a memory. Sometimes I go back to the full Biblical text and read a few verses before or after the selected lectionary reading. I like to embellish my writing with a coloring page, a photo, doodles, something that adds my own creative touch in my self-composed study Bible.
