When Someone Famous Dies, Do You Pray for the Repose of their Soul?

I’ve thought about this often. People who are famous, die, too. Rather than have them be one of the abandoned or forgotten souls in Purgatory, do you pray for them?

When a person dies, the time of merit has ended. The souls who merited heaven, thank God for that gift for they lead lives of grace and holiness. If souls have merited Purgatory, they can no longer pray for themselves. Their suffering is great. Yet these souls are grateful because they can no longer sin, and they know that their purgation will merit them the gift of heaven.

These souls are completely reliant on our prayers to ease their sufferings and hasten their cleansing. They know that they do not merit hell, but those who do not have others to pray for them linger in this state of eternity.
Do you pray for the Souls in Purgatory daily?
