Why be Grateful?

When you are grateful, you know you are loved. To be loved is to be held in high esteem and closeness by another person. To give thanks to the giver, elevates the joy and love that we are given when we return that joy and love to our beloved. When we praise and thank God for all the gifts He has given us, we return to Him the joy and love of His children.

“So we know and believe the love God has for us. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.”
1 John 4:16
