Need some direction in life?

"Remember the olden days, when you would stop at a gas station and ask for directions?  'Follow me' was the easiest way to give directions."

I came across this comment in a reflection from Regnum Christi.org on the Laudate App the other day.  It is based on the Gospel of John, Chapter 14, verses 1-6.

Jesus, in responding to a question by Thomas, says, "I am the way and the truth and the life.  No one comes to the Father except through me."

Thomas had just asked him, "Master, we do not know where you are going; how can we know the way?"

As the reflection pointed out, the clear answer for us, when we are trying to figure out which way to go in life, is to do what Jesus said.  Just follow him.

Jesus is the way.  He is the truth.  And he is the life.  As you go through your day today, be careful who you are getting directions from.  If you are not following Jesus, you might just be going the wrong way!
