Stay Informed

I'd like to recommend an online newsletter put out by the Michigan Catholic Conference. You don't have to be Catholic to read it, and I know many of you who read my posts who are not Catholic, will appreciate its content.

They publish it every Friday and you can have it come into your inbox and scroll through whatever topic interests you.

Because I am 100% pro-life and against abortion, I am interested in staying up-to-date with what the Michigan legislature is doing, along with Governor Whitmer. For instance, there is currently an effort to "repeal abortion limits that protect women," as well as topics of food for the poor, help for the vulnerable and educational concerns.

Please consider signing up (for free) so that you have a balanced, informative resource to help you know what is happening in Michigan.

You can find Michigan Catholic Conference's Lansing Update, as well as information on other ways they advocate for the vulnerable and strive to uphold the dignity of human life on their WEBSITE. Just click on the "Advocacy" tab on their website and go to Lansing Updates under "Newsroom."

Not interested in abortion, look at all of the other topics they cover as well. The following comes from their website:

Protecting the unborn
Upholding religious freedom
Providing for the poor and vulnerable
Welcoming immigrants and refugees
Supporting Catholic education
And more!

The Catholic Advocacy Network is a free online service provided by Michigan Catholic Conference, the official public policy voice of the Catholic Church in Michigan at the state Capitol.

These are human, social justice issues that are not limited to Catholics, so I hope you will check out their website!
